In compliance with the Tourism Tax Act 2017 and the Tourism Tax Regulations 2017 to the local tax regulations, starting on January 1, 2023, now require hotel operators to collect, report, and remit the Tourism Tax of MYR10 per room per night from all foreign guests and/or tourists.
